MIRANDA & CHRIS, YOURS TRULY, PHONED HOME.

music created our moments. we had a unique soundtrack for every step of the day. distinct themes and moods for each playlist defined how people would feel and the memories that would be made.

THE INTRO: UNION 2026

We wanted to include a playlist on our wedding website to set the tone for our guests and warm them up for our big day. This would be the playlist the guests also hear as they entered our ceremony room and waited for our procession to begin.

It sounded like this

Ceremony Champagne: Sweet 70s Soul

Following our ceremony, we went right into a celebratory champagne hour. This hour was special, we were officially married so it needed to be wholesome, uplifting and fun. We played happy old school soul, music you’d hear on an old radio in the 70s.

Reception Cocktail: Chic & Cool

After we moved our guests in black cabs to our next destination, we knew we wanted this to be our cool moody moment, the first moments of eve. Our venue was a glass teahouse tucked away in a secluded garden nursery. We only served negronis and italian margaritas, we wanted guests to feel like they just arrived at a secret chic cocktail party.

Reception Dinner: romantic & Sophisticated

Time for a banging italian family style dinner at our stunning candle lit tables in the glass teahouse. This was meant to feel intimate, romantic and even a little sexy. We chose alot of songs not in English, adding an element of intrigue, euro and elevation.

Reception dessert: Euro disco

Following dinner and speeches, it was time to bring some fun and flair to our moody mysterious dinner. We forgoed a traditional wedding cake and instead poured espresso over an affogato tower. This was our transition moment before we moved everyone to our official after party.

the after Party: Nostalgia 80s & Indie

We once again threw everyone back into the black cabs and led them to our closing venue, a small sweaty cocktail bar down a cobblestone alley accessible only by foot. It was time to party, dance and ideally scream sing, but it had to be original and maintain its edge. We opted for some 80s classics, indie rock fan favourites and Senorita.. obviously.
